Modalities
Therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I draw from different therapeutic approaches based on your individual needs, experiences, and goals.
My approach may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness, and attachment-based therapy to help you better understand patterns, process emotions and experiences, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change.
EMDR Therapy — Coming Soon
Some experiences stay with us long after they happen.
I am currently completing specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, an evidence-based approach that can support healing from trauma and distressing life experiences. EMDR can help people process difficult or traumatic experiences that may continue to affect the way they feel, think, or respond in the present.
This approach may be especially helpful for women navigating birth trauma, pregnancy loss, miscarriage, infertility, postpartum experiences, and other experiences that continue to feel emotionally overwhelming.
EMDR therapy will be offered at Monarca Therapy — coming soon.
Services

Perinatal Mental Health
The journey from conception to parenthood can bring experiences and emotions you may not have expected. I provide specialized support for women navigating infertility, pregnancy loss, TFMR, birth trauma, perinatal anxiety and depression, bonding difficulties, and the many emotional and identity changes that can come with motherhood.
Therapy can provide a compassionate space to process what you’ve experienced, better understand what you’re feeling, and receive support through this season of life.

Individual Therapy
Individual therapy is a one-on-one space centered on you, your experiences, and your goals. Whether you’re navigating motherhood, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, relationship or family concerns, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed, therapy can be tailored to what you need.
Our work together may focus on understanding patterns, processing difficult experiences, strengthening coping and communication skills, setting healthier boundaries, and creating changes that feel meaningful to you.

Couples Therapy
Every relationship goes through challenging seasons. Stress, major life transitions, parenting, differences in communication, and unresolved concerns can create distance or conflict between partners.
Couples therapy can help you and your partner better understand one another, identify patterns that may be contributing to conflict, strengthen communication, and work toward a healthier connection.
Sessions provide an opportunity for both partners to express their needs and concerns while learning practical ways to communicate, navigate conflict, and support one another.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long will I need therapy?
Everyone’s therapy journey is different, and the length and frequency of therapy will depend on your individual needs and goals. Once we meet, we can discuss what frequency of sessions may be most appropriate for you. Sessions are typically held weekly, but may transition to every other week when appropriate.
What is your cancellation policy?
Once you book an appointment with me, it means I have reserved time in my schedule exclusively for you. Appointments are scheduled for ongoing sessions at a determined day and time. If you need to cancel an appointment, you must provide a 48-hour notice or you will be charge your full session fee. If you are late to your therapy session, your therapist will meet with you for the remaining time of your session, and you will be charged your full session fee. If you are more than 20 minutes late to your therapy session, and did not notify your therapist, it is considered a “no-show”, the remainder of the session will be cancelled and you will be charged your full session fee. See informed consent for further details.
