About Me

Hi my name is Mary. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I received a Masters of Science degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family Therapy and with a specialization in Family Mediation; at California Lutheran University, and my Bachelors of Arts degree in Psychology; at California State University Channel Island (CSUCI).

Ive been working in the field several years, in a variety of settings, private practice, school based mental health, non-profits, family visitation centers, and have provided trauma and attachment based parenting groups.

I am a woman, a wife, a daughter, and a mother. Mother of 3 daughters, one of whom I lost due to Edwards Syndrome (Trisomy 18). I have encountered my own struggles in life, and learned through my own therapy to overcome and become my own Monarca Butterfly.
